The First Stops

Mark Daconto, Ron Canelli and Dan Fitzgerald have started the RV tour by visiting dealerships around New England, including Basement Systems of New Hampshire and TC Hafford Basement Systems. They recently had a great visit with Dry Zone Basement Systems in Taunton, MA.

"They are very excited about 2012 and are preparing for a big year," said Mark Daconto. "They just set their goals for the year based on some of the teachings from the recent Managers Training at Basement Systems. Several of their employees attended the training and have gone back with new ideas and enthusiasm about improving their departments and the entire company. Melissa Wilcox said it was the best training she has ever been to and gave them real motivation and direction in making improvements. They said that they will be attending once a year from now on."

Mark, Ron and Dan will continue winding their way through New England for the next few days until the next group takes over for the second leg of the trip.

TAUNTON, MA – Dry Zone Basement Systems, basement waterproofing contractors in Massachusetts, are excited to announce their upcoming home show schedule for the next several months. They will be present at shows all over Massachusetts and Rhode Island through April. Two of their biggest shows are at the Seaport World Trade Center in Boston from February 23 to 26, and the Rhode Island Convention Center from March 29 to April 1. It's the season of giving once again and the crew at Dry Zone Basement Systems, which provides basement waterproofing in Brookline, MA, and the surrounding towns, is doing their part to help the community. They are asking their neighbors and customers to pitch in and help local needy children. Dry Zone will be collecting new and unwrapped toys at their Whites Avenue office for Toys for Tots until December 17.

This is the first year that Dry Zone is acting as a drop-off location for toys and staff members have been telling all customers that book free estimates, service appointments and installations about the toy drive. Owner Todd Lutinski has a strong interest in Toys for Tots, as the Marines run it and Lutinski has several Marine veteran family members. Two of his crewmembers are also Marine veterans.

"It means a lot to us to support needy children in our local community and for it to be something that has to do with the Marines is even better!" Lutinski said.

To help out, Dry Zone is asking that customers give a toy to the inspector that visits their home for an estimate, the foreman at the job installation, or the service technician during a maintenance call. Local residents may also drop off a gift in person during normal business hours at 6 Whites Avenue in Taunton. The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.

This year's event is projected to see 250 runners, which is a turnout of an estimated 64 percent increase from last year's 162 in attendance. The race is being held at the American Legion Hall located at 291 Mill Street in Raynham, Mass. Awards will be presented to the gold, silver and bronze finishers in the men's and women's divisions for each age group.

Nearly 15 million asthma-related hospital visits and almost 2 million asthma-related emergency room visits occurred in

Studies show that 84% of U.S. homes have a bedroom with detectable levels of dust mite allergens; many of these
have levels that can contribute to allergies or asthma. Dampness and the presence of mold are also associated
with asthma and other respiratory health complaints. Exposure to dampness and mold in homes is estimated to
contribute to approximately 21% of current asthma cases in the United States, at an annual cost of $3.5 billion. Moisture
