Two instances of flooded basement; both having to do with the recent rains. With the first, the sump was never overwhelmed (well never flooded) but 1/2" of water came into the basement. It eventually drained, but within the same storm, our GFI tripped and the sump shut off then flooding the basement with another 3/4". We're now remediating but are looking into what it would cost to "fix" this issue.
