The falling fiberglass insulation was a problem for the homeowners in Charlestown, RI. We removed the organic, moldy material and sprayed the rim joists with our expanding spray foam. It seals the joists so no outside air can seep in.
These home owners in Cranston, RI were looking to even the floor in their basement to eventually finish some areas and make it comfortable enough for storage and a laundry room. The customer's are also getting their crawl space repaired and insulating rim joists with us.
The home owner in Providence, Rhode Island knew he had to do something about his damp basement and reached out to DryZone Basement Systems for a free estimate. Our system design specialist Patrick Cahill and owner Todd Lutinski went to the property and discussed their options of waterproofing the basement. They decided pouring a new concrete floor would be a great benefit for the basement instead of the wooden floor. The wooden floor was torn up in preparation to pour the concrete. Also added to the walls was the CleanSpace vapor barrier to keep moisture out of the basement.
The customer in Rehoboth, Mass was looking for a waterproofing system and floor pour for their damp basement. The owner reached out to DryZone Basement Systems with a few things in mind and their ultimate goal was to maintain a dry basement. Our owner Todd Lutinski went out to inspect this property and was able to prepare the customer for the floor pour and suggested a sump pump system to take care of the ground water in the basement. Shown in the before and after images is the basement with the gravel floor before the concrete pour.
The home owner in Fairhaven needed a vapor barrier and some stabilizers in his crawl space. He had known about the dealer network of Basement Systems and was looking forward to working with us. The customer had the installation team install SmartJacks to help support the foundation and CleanSpace vapor barrier to save the crawl space from moisture damage.
This home in Westwood, MA had a sump pump "system" in place. A submersible pump in a bucket that was placed into the ground. It could not keep up with the water and it was constantly getting clogged because of the open 'liner'. Our crew installed the SuperSump system which created a closed system. We also poured a new concrete floor in this basement.
The homeowners of this house in Bridgewater, MA wanted to finish their basement but after getting water last spring, they knew that had to have a professional fix that before they could move forward with anything else. After the first time they got water, they made a makeshift system to take care of the water but it wasn’t going to be enough for the space they envisioned down there that they needed to protect. Using the old sump hole that was already made, we could install our TripleSafe sump system. This system has three pumps for triple protection against water and one of those pumps running off a charged battery, in case of power outages. Our top pick for basements dealing with water issues!
The customer in Brockton had a fairly small crawl space but wanted it repaired. The crawl was gravel and dirt and allowed unwanted moisture and musty smells into the home. The home owner rented out the property to tenants and wanted the home in appropriate condition. Our system design specialist proposed a vapor barrier to line and encapsulate the entire crawl space.
This crawlspace in Falmouth, MA had air seeping in through cracks during the winter and the home was hard to cool in the summer. We sprayed the joists and sealed around our SilverGlo insulation to stop air from flowing, saving our customer money in the long run!
We installed CleanSpace to the Walls, added WaterGuard around the perimeter and a TripleSafe sump pump. After that, we poured an all new concrete floor for this Dorchester home. The customer was dealing with a stone foundation and a dirt floor which is a terrible combination if you're looking for a dry basement. We were happy to help and now this home is more comfortable and energy efficient.
