Our appointment center got a call from a homeowner in Harwich Port, MA in regard of her damp, musty and cold crawlspace! How did her basement get to this point? Our inspector visited the home and found the answer out himself. He informed the homeowner that an excess amount of moisture was getting into her basement, causing the disturbances she listed.
The inspector drew up a plan and had a production crew execute it in a quick and effective manner. The team cleaned out the whole area of debris and dirt, then placed some drainage mattings onto the floor. Then, the covered every inch of the crawlspace with CleanSpace vapor barrier to block off moisture from invading! By doing this, we reduced the chances of mold growth, musty odors and structural damage!
This homeowner in Harwich Port, MA wanted to do a maintenance check on his TripleSafe sump pump we installed for him back in 2011.
