When this customer called, he reported that he had flooding and water damage in his basement. He needed a solution to protect his basement from the water coming in. Our Call Center Representative set him up with an appointment for a System Design Specialist to inspect the property.
After the property was inspected, David, the System Design Specialist, recommended a solution specifically for this customer's issues. He suggested installing 177 feet of WaterGuard, 141 feet of CleanSpace, five WaterGuard Ports for flushing the system, a TripleSafe sump pump, a Lawnscape Outlet and two Ice Guards to prevent the discharge from freezing or blockage during the cold months.
This customer's basement looked better and was a much healthier space to live in after these products were installed by DryZone Basement Systems.
This morning our production crew visited a home in Holden, MA. The homeowners had explained that the basement had been flooding as the snow melted. Due to the pandemic, the crew was clad in red DryZone Basement Systems masks to protect themselves and our customers from COVID-19 .
First, the crew hung a plastic barrier to prevent unnecessary dust and debris from entering other parts of the basement. Next, they used drills to remove the portion of the concrete floor that would contain a perimeter drain called WaterGuard. They also cleared a place next to the steps leading into the basement where the sump pump would be installed. Mickey started to remove large, heavy barrels of crushed stone from the truck while Tommy and Tyler began to fill the perimeter with the crushed stone by hand.
After they finished the entry way of the basement, they moved on to another section of the basement where the drain would also installed.
To finish the job, Tommy, Tyler and Mickey installed the TripleSafe pump and TrenchDrain into the drilled perimeter and sump void they had created beforehand. They filled the areas with new concrete and cleaned their work area. Then, they nodded their heads with satisfaction in a job well-done.
Thanks to great communication skills, hard teamwork and a proven process with warranty-backed products, this Holden basement is ready to receive any showers the spring may rain down!
