Damp Basement Problem in North Chatham, MA

This basement in North Chatham, MA got increasingly damp over the rainy season, and moisture was becoming a real issue. The moisture was creating this musty smell that was hard to get rid of, so we fixed this basement with two of our amazing products. First, our production crew lined up all the foundation walls with CleanSpace wall vapor barrier to prevent moisture from entering. Then, they plugged in our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to get rid of excess moisture in the basement. Both of these products work well together give this homeowner a peace of mind!

In North Chatham, MA Roslyn had a nasty crawlspace that she wanted to fix up and knew exactly who to call! When she called DryZone she told us that she had worked with our company before at another property and was so pleased with the results, she had no doubt we could transform this crawlspace as well. Our inspector Sam went to the home and took a little tour through the space to see what we could do to make it a clean and functioning space for Roslyn and once the plan was made and she approved, the job could begin.

The crew worked hard to clean out the crawlspace of debris that were a perfect trap for moisture and mold and got it all ready to do the encapsulation. They added SmartSump pumps and a SaniDry Dehumidifier in, also used TerraBlock and CleanSpace to protect the inside of the space and then Rim Joist Insulation to seal it all up. The finished results were everything Roslyn had hoped for and she was so happy with the work, yet again!

I have a crawlspace that has had concrete applied to the floor. Mass Save insulated the walls. With the remnants of Ida, I checked the crawlspace and removed about a bucketful of water that had accumulated in the crawlspace in a puddle. I noticed a crack in the concrete floor that i suspect is the culprit for the leak.
