This is a prime example why it is so important to continue checking your system. We recommend at least once a year but in some cases more frequent appointments may be needed. Iron ochre is a waste byproduct of iron bacteria and occurs naturally in the soil across the world. This orange 'goop' is iron ochre and it can clog a system (think of it like cholesterol clogging an artery).

This crawlspace in Quincy, MA was looking very messy since the floor was dirt. In addition, there was moisture getting into the crawlspace, and when we sent an inspector to write up a solution, he saw mold growing onto the wooden support beams. This mold can cause structural damages, so the inspector had our production crew lay out some drainage mattings and encapsulated the floor with CleanSpace vapor barrier! This vapor barrier is crucial to the longevity of the crawlspace because it prevents moisture from entering, which is the root cause of mold growth, humidity and odors.
A customer in Quincy, MA wanted to waterproof his basement because he just recently moved in. He has plans on living their for as long as possible, and he knew coming to us for help would increase the longevity of his home. Our inspector took a look at his basement and proposed to install a TripleSafe sump pump and a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. The homeowner had no existing sump pump and he lives in an area that has constant rain during the spring time. He agreed to the proposal and our production crew came in to dig a sump pit for the TripleSafe that will discharge water coming in. Then they plugged in the SaniDry Sedona so it can eliminate any moisture that gets into the basement, protecting the area from mold growth and rot.
A homeowner in Quincy, MA wanted to keep moisture out of his half finished basement. A homeowner in Quincy, MA called us looking to upgrade his sump pump. He's owned the house for the past 30 years, he already has a drainage system. Though, there's always been an issue with his sump. It was not keeping up with all the water getting in, causing it to back up a couple of times. We sent over an inspector to make a recommendation. He recommended that we take out his old sump and replaced it with our TripleSafe sump pump. He agreed to the installation and the crew began the process. Our inspector took a look at the crawlspace and noticed there was no insulation, so he proposed to install SilverGlo wall insulation. She loved the idea and agreed to the installation. The crew came and cleaned any unwanted debris, then installed the SilverGlo. Now, she won't have to worry about the cold when going into her crawlspace!

After, they placed the primary pump, secondary pump and electrical pump to provide triple the protection! Now, this homeowner can live with a peace of mind with his new sump pump!
This home in Quincy, MA had some window wells that had no covers so they were full of debris and growth, blocking light from entering the basement windows and allowing moisture buildup. The owner of the home did some research and found our website that had our SunHouses, covered window wells that allow light to reflect in as well as keep out rain, pests, and growth.
