Geraldine had two areas of her basement for DryZone to address which is common for this area of the country. She had a full basement and a crawlspace. She met with her system design specialist who did a thorough analysis of the basement and crawlspace, outlining her options. After going through the process with Steve, she realized there were certain things she wanted in her basement that no company had ever suggested before. She wanted to keep her whole basement dry all the time! She also realized that her crawlspace was losing heat by not sealing the air in the rim joists. Steve suggested she do a full perimeter WaterGuard system that connects to a TripleSafe sump pump. We added vent covers to her crawlspace and sealed and insulated her rim joists with SilverGlo. A SaniDry was added to remove the humidity and moisture from the entire space. Geraldine told Steve she chose our company because it was the most comprehensive system and we had great ratings online! She also emailed her gratitude by saying she was 100% confident that DryZone was going to solve her issues. The job went well, working around many obstacles that most companies wouldn't and she has been bone dry ever since! She just had her first annual maintenance since her installation and was thrilled to be able to say she has not worried when she sees rain in the forecast!

He said that each time they got about 4 inches of water whenever the inconvenience happened. Once an appointment was finalized, we sent over an inspector to their location. He found that the basement could use a WaterGuard interior drainage system, a TrenchDrain and a TripleSafe sump pump. The water would fall into the WaterGuard system, then gets moved toward the TripleSafe to be discharged away from the basement. A homeowner from Dudley, MA has lived in this home for 40 years and was considering waterproofing his basement. At first when he bought the house, the rain wasn't too much of a concern since there was minimum rainfall. But as the years progressed, especially the past couple of years, he would commonly have floods in his basement which was bringing in moisture and dampness. Our inspector went to the house to finalize a plan for the customer so that his basement won't flood anymore. After plans were discussed, our production team made a sump pit to place a TripleSafe sump pump in for water to be discharged. But without a good drainage system, it would be hard for the TripleSafe to get rid of all the water. So that's why we installed a WaterGuard interior drainage system to collect water from the wall floor joint. Now, with both these products working well together, his basement is completely waterproof!
This customer from Worcester, MA was very upset with seeing water coming into the finished part of his basement. They also placed two WaterGuard ports in so that we could do scheduled maintenance checks because it's important to keep those piping systems clean. Lastly, we included two IceGuards onto the discharge lines to prepare the pipes for the winter. This will allow water to escape the discharge line even if everything freezes!
A customer in Worcester, MA called us regarding his unfinished basement. The floor was all concrete and it was unfortunately leaking in ground water from the surrounding land. It didn't help that the yard surrounding his house slanted downwards towards the basement as well. A customer in Rutland, MA wanted to encapsulate his walk out basement. He was doing good for a while, he installed a sump pump himself in one corner, but he started to notice how humid it was getting because moisture was getting through his porous walls. Stopping moisture from entering is good for basement and human health because the moisture can lead to mold growth, rot or strange smells.
A customer from Worcester, MA came to the conclusion that he needed a vapor barrier for his dirt crawlspace after noticing how humid and moist it felt. We had one of our inspectors visit the homeowner to evaluate the situation further. The inspector noticed that there was a little mold on a wooden support beam in the crawlspace. This was from all the moisture from the dirt that was causing the mold growth. So to prevent the mold growth, we had to deal with the moisture. So we encapsulated the space with CleanSpace vapor barrier so it creates a durable barrier between the earth and the home. Now, this homeowner won't have to worry about mold.
A customer from Worcester, MA wanted to fix both his basement and crawlspace. The crawlspace was dirt, so it was very exposed to moisture while the basement was leaking in some water from the floor. Our inspector was sent over to look at both areas, he took a careful look at where the water was coming from and came up with a plan to use CleanSpace vapor barrier. For the basement, they lined up the walls with CleanSpace while the encapsulated the crawlspace with the product. Now, moisture will have a difficult time to enter, decreasing the humidity and staying safe from mold growth. To complete the basement, we installed a WaterGuard interior drainage system to collect water inside the perimeter. This was then connected to a TripleSafe sump pump so that the water gets discharged far away from the land. After the installations, the homeowner couldn't even recognize his basement or crawlspace because of how clean it looked!
A customer in Worcester, MA called our appointment center because she saw water leaking into her basement. She wanted to fix the leaks before they turned into floods, so an inspector went to the customer so a plan could be made. The product we installed for her to solve the issue was our WaterGuard interior drainage system. We built the WaterGuard in the inside perimeter of the whole basement, so that there's less of a chance puddles will form. It's best to get the full perimeter installed so that all points of the basement are draining the water!
This customer in Milford, MA was sick of how much water was getting in through the bulkhead entrance of the basement. He uses this entrance a lot, but every time he walks through it, he has to step through some puddles which can make his basement very damp. He needed some way to collect any water seeping through, so our production team jackhammered a trench where the water was landing to install our TrenchDrain. This TrenchDrain is built to intercept water coming through these entrances since water gets through easily in those areas. The drain was connected to the customer's current sump pump which was very convenient.
A customer in Milford, MA contacted our appointment center looking for a drainage channel. His half finished basement was in decent condition, but some water wasn't being pumped out from his sump pump. We sent over an inspector to look at the issue, and he told the homeowner that our WaterGuard interior drainage system would collect all the water coming in, no matter what part of the basement, and drain it to his sump pump. This is exactly what the customer needed, so our production team began the process. They jackhammered a trench inside the whole perimeter and placed the WaterGuard system in. The way it's designed, it creates a small gap between itself and the wall so that the wall seepage goes straight into the system. This is very good for the homeowner since it takes away the issue of water not reaching his sump. Afterwards, the placed concrete over the trench to make it look nice and clean!

The inspector knew that installing two of our other products to go with the TripleSafe sump pump was the best for this home because water won't be able to puddle in, bringing in moisture.
