When this customer from Southfield, MA first called, he reported that he had recently purchased his home. He stated that the basement was in disarray and had persistent issues with flooding. There was an improperly installed sump pump that wasn't working and he wanted the basement encapsulated. He was also looking for an energy-efficient dehumidifier he didn't have to empty daily by hand.
Our Call Center Representative set up an appointment with a System Design Specialist, Michael. Michael went to the home and did a full free inspection and gave him a written estimate of the proposed work.
Our crew went out to the home and installed 92 feet of WaterGuard sub-floor drainage around the entire perimeter of the basement to collect water. They installed a 50' artery to move the water and a TrenchDrain. A TripleSafe sump pump was put in to replace the old pump. The sump pushed all of the water from the home via a discharge line through a LawnScape Outlet. The LawnScape Outlet had an IceGuard to prevent freezing and clogging in the cold months.
The basement was encapsulated with 92 feet of CleanSpace vapor barrier, which protected the area and also made it more aesthetically pleasing. Lastly, a SaniDry XP was plugged into the wall to prevent mold, odors and humidity.
Due to having a full perimeter system installed, this customer has been guaranteed a dry basement for life with our Lifetime Warranty! His basement is healthier and looks better, too!
