In Assonet, Ma, this home’s leaking basement was not something the homeowners were looking forward to dealing with at this time, but unfortunately the water could not be ignored. We had our crew go out and install our Waterguard drainage system around the perimeter along with CleanSpace vapor barrier. These two work great together to keep the basement dry from water seeping in from the walls by protecting the inside with the barrier and making a path to the Waterguard at the bottom that connects to a sump. We used our strongest sump pump, the TripleSafe, for the best protection in this basement and for this customer.

Hi there - I have recently purchased a home in Assonet with an existing covered sump pump in an unfinished basement that's approximately 1800 sqft. I'm potentially interested in buying and installing the SaniDry XT basement dehumidifier to drain into the existing pump basin without the risk of recirculating any standing water from the pump basin back into the dehumidifier. I'd like to discuss whether the normal cover over the sump pump will be sufficient, or whether an additional seal is required. I'd also like to determine how far away from the pump the dehumidifier should be located, and whether the dehumidifier needs to be elevated using a cement platform, or whether it can simply sit on the basement surface.
