This homeowner in Assonet, MA gave us a call because they found cracks in the main support beam of their home. When our inspector, Michelle, visited the home to take a look at the existing support beams in the crawl space, she came up with a solution on how we could restore the home's support to give the homeowner peace of mind. On installation day, our foreman, Tomas, and his crew were ready to install our SmartJacks! The SmartJack Stabilizer is an adjustable supplemental support system that is designed to correct sagging floors. They not only provide support, but can also be adjusted to restore failing floor joists/beams to their original position. SmartJacks are made of galvanized steel, meaning they're covered in a coat of zinc to prevent rusting. During this project, our crew installed 17 SmartJacks throughout the crawl space beneath the home.
