It connected to the new, poured concrete basement. Like many homes in the area, the house also had a fieldstone crawlspace. 

Chris had concerns about the structural intergrity of the lally columns in the basement and crawlspace. He was looking to have the rotting fiberglass insulation removed and replaced with a better solution, such as spray foam. These homeowners in Foxboro, MA wanted to finish their basement but dampness was holding them back from going through with the work.
