We were contacted by a homeowner in Braintree, MA after they noticed some of the floors in their home were sloping and sagging, which made them believe there was a structural issue that needed to be addressed. Our team was ready to help, and we sent out an inspector that took photos and measurements of the basement before going over the scope of the work that would be needed to add extra support to the home!
Solution
At the job, our crew installed SmartJack supports which would stabilize the floor above, even potentially bringing the floor back to its original height, reducing the sag the owners noticed. The galvanized steel beams are cut to the required length and are set on a footing for a secure structure. The rods at the top can be adjusted over time, lifting the floor!
