Reliable Foundation Repair & Basement Waterproofing Rutland, MA

A customer in Rutland, MA wanted to encapsulate his walk out basement. He was doing good for a while, he installed a sump pump himself in one corner, but he started to notice how humid it was getting because moisture was getting through his porous walls. When our inspector went over to formulate the best solution, he felt the humidity in the basement, so he had our production team install CleanSpace vapor barrier all over to create a thick barrier that won't allow moisture in. Stopping moisture from entering is good for basement and human health because the moisture can lead to mold growth, rot or strange smells. 

This homeowner from Rutland, MA wanted to explore our FlexiSpan wall crack repair system. The wall crack appeared when the foundation was moving around over time. This crack could lead to bigger issues such as getting bigger in size, so the homeowner wanted to seal this up as soon as he could. A field technician was sent to do a FlexiSpan wall crack repair job so that the opening can be permanently sealed. The technician began by creating a drywell drainage hole at the bottom of the crack. This is where the floor and wall meet up, then he carefully applied a coating of flexible polyurethane onto the crack from starting from the top and making his way down. Then he placed a foam strip over that will provide extra protection in case the water does seep through, which is rare. Then, one more layer of the polyurethane was applied. This system allows water to by stopped and drained down towards the drywell so that the homeowner won't see any water around the area anymore.
