Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Unfinished Basement Waterproofing in Rutland, MA
This homeowner in Rutland, MA gave us a call looking for a more reliable waterproofing system for their unfinished basement because their existing sump pump wasn't cutting it during heavy rainfalls. Our inspector, Nick, went out to the home to assess the basement and drew up a better plan for it. On installation day, Foreman Melvin and his crew started by installing our CleanSpace vapor barrier seamlessly along the wall to corral seepage into the WaterGuard drainage system which was installed along the floor's perimeter to also collect groundwater. Our TrenchDrain grated basement drain was installed inside of the bulkhead door to collect surface water, it's connected to the WaterGuard. They also set up our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier in the basement to control humidity year-round. The water collected in the drainage system and dehumidifier is channeled into the TripleSafe sump pump. The TripleSafe sends all of the collected water out of the basement through two discharge lines. On the outside of the home, the IceGuard discharge line system was set up to prevent water from flooding back into the basement if a discharge line ever clogs or freezes. Now the homeowner can feel much more confident in their waterproofing system.
CleanSpace Wall System & WaterGuard Drainage System

TrenchDrain is installed inside of the bulkhead door to catch excess and surface water. It is connected to the WaterGuard drainage system.
The SaniDry Sedona keeps the humidity in the air of the basement low and drains itself into the TripleSafe sump pump. The TripleSafe takes all of the collected water and sends it out of the home through the discharge lines.
IceGuard Discharge Line System
The IceGuard discharge line system is installed on the outside of the home and prevents flooding in the event of a clogged or frozen discharge line.
