Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Rutland, MA Wet Basement Solutions

A homeowner in Rutland, MA had a lot of flooding in their basement after the last big storm we had so they gave us a call to see how we could help them. One of our inspectors, Benny, went to the home to take a look and drew up a solution that would keep the basement dry no matter how hard it rained. Kervin, one of our foremen, and his crew got to work on installation day. Around the entire perimeter of the basement floor, the crew installed our WaterGuard drainage system and at the base of the stairs that lead outside, they put our TrenchDrain grated basement drain to catch surface water. The WaterGuard and TrenchDrain are connected and channel the water they collect into the sump pump system. The crew set up our SaniDry XP dehumidifier in the basement to control humidity and it drains itself into the WaterGuard drainage system. The SuperSump Plus sump pump was installed in the lowest point of the basement floor and sends all of the collected water out through the discharge line system. The IceGuard discharge line system was installed on the outside of the home to prevent flooding from a clogged or frozen line.
