DryZone Basement Systems Case Studies: Leaky Addition in Middletown, RI

Challenge

After this customer in Middletown, RI attached an addition to their home they noticed water in the basement of the new section, which was going to be a problem they wanted to address before they did anything with the space. The last thing we or any customer wants is to finish their basement before waterproofing, which is especially true for new additions that may disturb the water table and can still have leaks. The homeowner, Albert, was very happy to have this taken care of before it got bad.

Solution

With the help of our inspector and foreman, Ryan, the plan was envisioned and installed without any problems! The Waterguard drainage system was installed around the basement and is attached to the SuperSump sump pump. The water that leaks in and gets caught by the system will get pumped out through the discharge, keeping the basement dry and Albert and his family happy!
