Crawl Space Repair in Holden, MA

Challenge

A homeowner in Holden, MA reached out to us looking for options to improve their crawl space. Our inspector, Trevor, went out to the home and met with the homeowner to discuss their goals for their home. The homeowner told Trevor that they wanted the crawl space to be insulated to prevent cold floors in their home during the winter and that they were also looking for encapsulation and dehumidification to reduce humidity issues in the summer. Trevor drew up a solution that would handle each of the homeowner's concerns.

Solution

On installation day, our foreman, Riley, and his crew arrived at the home ready to transform the crawl space! First, they removed all debris from the space and then laid down our drainage matting. They insulated the crawl space with our SilverGlo wall insulation which regulates the temperature of the space and prevents cold floors in the home during the winter. The crew then fully encapsulated the crawl space with our CleanSpace vapor barrier. Lastly, they set up our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier in the crawl space to keep humidity under control in the summer. The homeowner now feels confident in the conditions of the crawl space beneath their home!
