Foundation Repair Project in Quincy, MA
Challenge
This homeowner in Quincy, MA reached out to us inquiring about foundation repair for their home. They were noticing some cracks throughout the foundation on both the inside and outside of the home and pointed them out to our inspector, Trevor, when he went out to take a look. Trevor did a full assessment of the home's foundation and its structural integrity, then he drew up a solution to fix its settlement issues.
Solution
On installation day our foreman, Lucio, and his crew installed our Push Pier system. The Push Piers are driven deep into the soil beneath the foundation to put a stop to the settlement. Then they did a lift procedure to return the foundation back to its original position, closing the cracks and reversing the structural damage that had already happened. Once the Push Piers were in place and the lift procedure was complete, the crew backfilled the soil that was removed during installation, leaving the home looking how it did before we arrived, but now it's structurally sound!
