From Unfinished Basement to Safe Haven!
Taunton, MA. DryZone Basement Systems recently converted the basement of Harvest Community Church into a clean, dry room now useable for sheltering homeless people on cold wintry nights.
The contractor from DryZone describes this major project:
“We did a big job in June for Harvest Community Church in Woonsocket, RI. Two hundred sixty feet of WaterGuard with CleanSpace Wall and two SuperSumps, plus m98 1/2 hp pumps. The pastor was referred to us by another customer and he needed the work done in the unfinished basement that he uses for homeless people in the winter.”
WaterGuard is a drainage system engineered to solve basement water problems without clogging from soil beneath the basement floor. CleanSpace is a durable wall system that looks great and simultaneously drains any water behind it. Both systems are patented products from Basement Systems, Inc.

In addition to church services, Harvest Community Church of Woonsocket runs missionary programs, and offers study groups and youth services. A native of the area, Pastor Giguere launched the church in 2002 after serving as a missionary.
