Crawl Space Repair After a Major Flood in North Providence, RI

Back in April of 2022 we had fully encapsulated the crawl space beneath this customer's home in North Providence, RI and they were really happy with the improvement it brought to their entire home. In September of 2023, a huge storm caused a major flood in their entire neighborhood due to poor drainage in that area. Our SmartSump Crawl Space Sump Pump along with the UltraSump Battery Backup up were luckily able to keep the massive amount of water out of the home's living space, but the crawl space was completely filled with water. Unfortunately, this caused the homeowner to lose their boiler, oil tank, and water heater. Once the water was removed from the home, it was clear that the encapsulation project was destroyed as well.

Since the customer already had a lot on their plate with replacing their home's utilities, we wanted to work them and help them out. As a gesture of good will, our crew re-encapsulated and re-insulated the entire crawl space, as well as reinstalling our SmartSump system and SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. Although the flooding was due to a clogged drainage pipe in the neighborhood and not our systems failing, we understand how devastating these things can be when they happen in your home. Our team was happy to help our customer during this difficult time.
