Photo Album: Unfinished Basement Waterproofing in Newton Center, MA

This homeowner in Newton Center, MA reached out to us because they needed to have their unfinished basement completely waterproofed. Our inspector, Mike, went out to the home and drew up a solution for the wet basement. On installation day, Foreman Kervin and his crew first installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier along each wall to direct seepage into the WaterGuard drainage system which was installed along the floor's entire perimeter to collect groundwater. Our XL TrenchDrain grated basement drain was installed at the base of the bulkhead stairs to catch surface water, it's connected to the WaterGuard drainage system. All of that water is then channeled into the TripleSafe Sump Pump which then sends it out of the basement through the two discharge lines. On the outside of the home, the IceGuard discharge line system was set up to prevent water from flooding back into the basement if a discharge line ever gets clogged or freezes. Now the homeowner can rest easy knowing their basement is safe from water!
