This homeowner in North Providence, RI reached out to us about finally having their entire basement waterproofed. They had been putting it off for some time, but the most recent rainfall was the last straw. Our inspector, Nick, visited the home during the free estimate appointment and drew up a solution. Our crew installed the WaterGuard drainage system along the basement floor's entire perimeter to collect groundwater. They also installed the TrenchDrain grated basement drain in front of the basement door that leads outside to catch surface water, it's connected to the WaterGuard. All of that water is channeled into the sump pump system. The SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier was also set up in the basement to keep humidity low and it drains itself into the sump pump as well. The TripleSafe sump pump sends all of the collected water out of the basement through two discharge lines. On the outside of the home, the IceGuard discharge line system was set up to prevent water from flooding back into the basement if the discharge line ever gets clogged or freezes in the winter. The homeowner is so relieved that they finally had us waterproof their basement!
