A homeowner in Exeter, RI gave us a call because water was a constant issue in their basement and they were tired of it. On installation day, Foreman Julius and his crew started waterproofing the basement by installing our WaterGuard drainage system around the perimeter of the floor to collect groundwater. They also installed our TrenchDrain grated basement drain at the bottom of the bulkhead stairs to catch surface water. The WaterGuard and TrenchDrain are connected and all of the water they collect gets filtered into the sump pump system. The crew installed our SuperSump Plus sump pump in the lowest point of the basement floor and it sends all of the water out of the basement. Lastly, the crew set up our SaniDry XP dehumidifier in the basement to keep humidity in the space low. Now the homeowner can feel confident that they won't have to worry about water in their basement again.
WaterGuard & WaterGuard Port
WaterGuard is installed along the perimeter of the basement floor and covered in fresh concrete to provide a seamless finished look. The WaterGuard Port is left visible to provide access to the system when needed.
TrenchDrain Grated Basement Drain
TrenchDrain is installed in front of the basement door that leads outside to catch excess and surface water. It is connected to the WaterGuard drainage system.
SaniDry XP Dehumidifier & SuperSump Plus Sump Pump
The SaniDry XP keeps the humidity in the air of the basement low and drains itself into the SuperSump Plus sump pump. The SuperSump Plus takes all of the water it collects and sends it out of the home through the discharge line.
