Photo Album: Crawl Space Transformation in Narragansett, RI

This homeowner in Narragansett, RI gave us a call because their crawl space needed help in a few different areas. Not only did it need to be encapsulated, but also it needed some structural reinforcement as well. Trevor, one of our inspectors, went to the home to assess the crawl space and drew up a solution for its issues. On installation day, one of our foremen, Kervin, and his crew got to work! First, they insulated the crawl space with our SilverGlo wall insulation to regulate the temperature of the crawl space. SilverGlo is much cleaner and more effective than fiberglass insulation. The crew fully encapsulated the space with our CleanSpace vapor barrier to completely seal it off from damaging moisture. To keep humidity low, they installed our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier which drains itself into the SmartSump which sends all water out of the space through a discharge line. To fix the structural issues, the crew installed our SmartJack Stabilizers throughout the space. SmartJacks are strong beams made of galvanized steel that can be adjusted to reverse any floor sloping that has already occurred above the crawl space. Now the homeowner can have peace of mind about the conditions of their crawl space!
