Photo Album: West Springfield, MA Basement Waterproofing

This homeowner in West Springfield, MA gave us a call looking for waterproofing options for their unfinished basement. Our inspector, Andy, went to the home to take a look at the basement and drew up a solution for it's water issues. On installation day, Foreman Lucio and his crew started by installing our CleanSpace vapor barrier along each wall to direct seepage into the WaterGuard drainage system which was installed along the floor's perimeter to collect the groundwater. Our TrenchDrain grated basement drain was installed in front of the basement door that leads outside to catch surface water, it's connected to the WaterGuard drainage system. All of that water is then sent into the TripleSafe sump pump. The TripleSafe sends all of the collected water out of the basement through the two discharge lines. On the outside of the home, the IceGuard discharge line system was set up to prevent water from flooding back into the basement if the discharge line ever gets clogged or freezes in the winter. Now the homeowner no longer has to worry about water getting into their basement!
