This home in Newport, RI was leaking in water because the walls were so porous! Porous walls have a tendency to allow moisture or water vapor to pass through, so we covered the walls with CleanSpace vapor barrier and installed a TripleSafe sump pump along with a WaterGuard interior drainage system. 

This faulty sump pump located in Newport, RI was discovered to have a broken float switch. The switch was stuck in the "on" position which forced the system to go in overdrive and constantly run! This caused the system to eventually breakdown, which is why we provided our new TripleSafe sump pump option! Our system is much more powerful with 3 pumps working with each other. So if one fails, the other pumps are there for additional help! This basement will most certainty remain dry for years to come! 

The home owner in Walpole, Massachusetts decided it was time to address the basement water issue. He contacted DryZone Basement Systems and got the basement inspected by a professional. There was a sump pump but it had not been working for sometime. Every time there is a rain storm a few puddles form in the basement. They eventually want to finish this space in the basement so they wanted to start with waterproofing first. In the before and after shown here we see the product about have concrete poured over it.
