There was no drainage system for this homeowner in Avon, MA causing water to start puddling around the perimeter. The water was getting in through the cracks of the foundation and the homeowner had enough. He contacted us to get an estimate on our WaterGuard interior drainage system. Once the inspector informed the homeowner how and when they would install the WaterGuard, the production crew came to dig a trench that surrounds the inside perimeter of the basement to install the WaterGuard in. The WaterGuard is designed to be a non-clogging drainage system that collects and moves water to the existing sump pump.
This customer was looking on the market for a new and reliable sump pump system because his old system was outdated and performing poorly. Our inspector was able to assess the basement to write a plan for our production crew to follow, the plan was to swap out the old system with the TripleSafe sump pump. This will do a much better job at dealing with water infiltration, lowering the risks of mold growth, musty odors and anxiety!
In Berkley, MA, this home needed some repairs before they could finish their basement, mainly cracks in the wall that allowed water to seep through and create puddles. Knowing this issue would not fix itself, the home owners gave DryZone a call and we were able to repair the cracks for them with our FlexiSpan Wall System. For this system, we install a drywell to catch any potential leaks and keeps them off the basement floor. Then we prep the crack and add our sealant that gets deep in the crack, the sealant is flexible so it will move as the wall does when it expands and shifts with the seasons. A second layer of drainage is placed over the sealed crack that will guide any water to the drywell in the rare case it gets through. The crack here was covered with a Cleanspace Vapor Barrier that will give it a clean look and keep the moisture out of the basement.
This crawlspace located in Berkley, MA needed some serious help. With dampness and moisture causing issues, weakened supports in the crawlspace, and the need for protection against moisture - these homeowners turned to DryZone to help them figure out what could be done. They definitely contacted the right place! Appointment Center representative Ken helped them schedule a free estimate within the week, and our inspector Mike B. called to confirm the appointment with them the day beforehand, and again the day of to let them know he was on his way. During his assessment, he quickly identified the need for added support in one section of the crawlspace; this was a result of prolonged exposure to damp, wet conditions that the support was beginning to soften. With Tomas as lead foreman & his talented installation team, by encapsulating the crawlspace with our CleanSpace vapor barrier encapsulation system, installing a new steel support beam supported by our SmartJack system, and the installation of a SaniDry Sedona with a condensate pump to allow it to drain automatically - this crawlspace will no longer be the source of stress and potential health problems due to moisture and mildew!
Our service technician Nick DeCosta was on an annual maintenance visit in Raynham and came across this pump that needed a lot of attention from DryZone! The property in Raynham has an iron ochre problem. The orange, rust colored slim all over the pump forms from the iron bacteria. Nick rinsed and cleaned the pump and performed annual maintenance on the system.
