Our inspector drew up a solution that would prevent the heat from leaving the basement in the winter. Our crew installed our Foamax wall panels along the basement walls to insulate them and they also insulated the rim joists of the basement. Now heat that the homeowner pays for won't be able to escape through the basement's walls or rim joists so they will notice a much warmer environment in their home and maybe even lower heating bills!
