This homeowner in Yarmouth Port, MA gave us a call because their floors were really creaky due to their crawl space's support system starting to fail. The support system in their crawl space was made up of wooden beams that were starting to rot and multiple metal vertical supports that were covered in rust. Our inspector, Jake, went to the home and drew up a solution to fix it's structural issues. On installation day, our foreman, Julius, and his crew installed our SmartJack Stabilizing system throughout the basement. SmartJacks, and the supplemental beams that the crew also installed, are made of galvanized steel so they don't rust or rot over time like wood and metal. SmartJacks stabilize the sloping floors and can even be lifted to reverse the sloping that has already occurred. Now the homeowner will no longer have to listen to their floors creaking and they can rest easy knowing their home is structurally sound again!
The owner of the property in Provincetown, Massachusetts was looking for crawl space repair that would solve the moisture and mildew smell. After meeting with DryZone Basement Systems our system design specialist decide it was best to encapsulate the crawlspace with CleanSpace vapor barrier and install a sump pump system to solve the water issues.
The customer in Dennis, Massachusetts knew DryZone had a respectable reputation in their area and had our system design specialist quote and appropriate waterproofing system for them. In the past they had dealt with a wet basement due to a "mickey-mouse" system. This make shift system was not cutting it.
Have you ever had to deal with a leaky oil tank? It can be an unforeseen disaster! When we install a waterproofing system, we always include this added protection for your oil tank!
During a very wet spring, the owners of this Yarmouth, MA home were dealing with an unmanageable amount of water in their basement, more than ever before. With more rain on the future forecast, they knew they had to get this situation under control before more water got in and irreversible damage occurred. We scheduled their free estimate and listened to all the concerns they had. Our inspector formed a plan that would work for the space and then the installation could get underway. At the install the crew put in Waterguard along the perimeter that connects to the sump, this system will collect the water seeping in and escort it for removal via the sump pump. Around the furnace and water tank we put TrenchDrain so that water could be collected from all angles. After the install, they clean the space and make sure everything is in tiptop shape!
