Cape Cod is home to beautiful houses by the ocean which mean damp, musty crawlspaces. A crawlspace that is encapsulated with our CleanSpace vapor barrier is the first step to fixing the entire health of the home. We did this job in Truro, MA.

A homeowner in North Truro, MA gave us a call because water was getting into their basement/crawl space area through the bulkhead stairway. Our inspector, Rick, went out to the home and he drew up a solution that would waterproof the space, focusing on the bulkhead area. On installation day, our crew, lead by Foreman Kervin, installed our TrenchDrain grated basement drain on the inside of the bulkhead stairs. TrenchDrain catches the excess water that comes in through the bulkhead and it is connected to our WaterGuard drainage system which then sends the water into our TripleSafe sump pump. The TripleSafe pumps all of the collected water out of the home through two discharge lines. Now the homeowner doesn't have to worry about water getting into their basement or crawl space!

In Dennis Port, MA, this summer cottage’s crawlspace was frequently flooding and the owner was nervous about the moisture causing damage to the wood and organic material, rotting the home from the ground up. With our CleanSpace vapor barrier, we were able to use inorganic material to seal the earth from the inside of the space. The inorganic material will no feed mold and help keep the wood in the crawlspace from suffering rot damage.

Our inspector had the production crew install SilverGlo wall insulation and plugged in a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to get rid of water vapor. The SilverGlo provides the crawlspace with a reliable radiant heat barrier that will keep the house warm and help the customer save on heating costs! 

When this homeowner from Dennis Port, MA reached out to us, he told us that his living room floor had an area of concern. It was sagging down due to a weak support structure below.
