Elite Plank Flooring Installation in a South Weymouth, MA Condo Unit

Challenge

A condo owner in South Weymouth, MA reached out to us because they were struggling with moisture issues in their garden level unit. They wanted to make sure these issues were going to be permanently fixed. Our inspector, David, went to the condo to take a look and draw up a solution. Upon his inspection, he noted that the floors were ruptured, water damaged, and the whole space was filled with moisture. The owner told him that they had installed a standard dehumidifier in the unit but after running it for nearly two months, the space still smelled like a pool house. David shared his solution with the owner and they were excited to move forward and put their water issues in the past.

Solution

On installation day, our inspector Carlos and his crew were ready to fix the unit's water issues for good. They started by tearing up all of the impacted wood flooring and removing it from the condo. Then, they installed our Elite Plank Flooring throughout the unit. Elite Plank Flooring is made from material that is not susceptible to water or mold damage. The material is also insulated, meaning it creates a thermal break so it won't feel so cold in the winter. In one of the condo's closets, the crew also set up our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. The SaniDry Sedona is a commercial grade dehumidifier that works much better and more efficiently than any other dehumidifier on the market. With the new waterproof flooring and dehumidifier installed, the condo owner no longer has to worry about water issues and can feel comfortable in their living space again.
