Wet Basement Solutions in Middleboro, MA
Challenge
This homeowner in Middleboro, MA had a sump pump previously installed in their basement but it wasn't doing its job and water was still finding its way into the basement. They decided to give us a call and see what we could do to keep water out for good. Steve, one of our inspectors, visited the home during the free estimate appointment and drew up a solution that would completely waterproof the basement. On installation day, Lucio, one of our foremen, arrived at the home with his crew and they were ready to get to work!
Solution
The crew removed the existing sump pump and replaced it with our TripleSafe sump pump which has three lines of defense against water: a primary pump, secondary pump, and battery backup system that kicks on if the power goes out. They also installed our CleanSpace Wall System along the basement walls to act as a vapor barrier and they put our WaterGuard drainage system along the perimeter of the basement floor to collect groundwater. The crew also set up our SaniDry XP dehumidifier in the basement and it conveniently drains itself into the TripleSafe sump pump. The water caught by the wall system, drainage system, and dehumidifier gets channeled into the sump pump and sent out of the home through the discharge lines. The homeowner is really relieved now that they have a waterproofing system they can trust!
