Pre-Construction Waterproofing in Duxbury, MA

Challenge

This homeowner in Duxbury, MA was having a new garage built for their home but they wanted it to be waterproofed before the project was complete, that way they would never have to worry about water issues in the space. Our inspector, David, went to the home and drew up a plan for the garage to be waterproofed before the concrete floor was poured to finish up the project.

Solution

On installation day, Foreman Kervin and his crew arrived ready to waterproof the garage before construction was complete. First, they leveled the dirt floor and then installed our WaterGuard drainage system on each side of the garage to collect groundwater. On the inside of each garage door, they installed our Spee-D Channel grated drain to catch surface water. The WaterGuard and Spee-D Channel are connected and filter the water they collect into the TripleSafe sump pump. The TripleSafe sump pump was installed in the middle of the garage near the doors and it will send all water out of the garage through two discharge lines. The homeowner is so relieved that once their garage floor is poured and the project is done, they'll never have to worry about water issues.
