Challenge
This homeowner in Amherst, MA reached out to us because they were constantly dealing with a very wet basement due to living in a high water table area of the town. Our inspector, Nick, went to the home to assess the basement and its water issues. After taking a look, Nick drew up a solution that would keep the basement dry going forward. This basement had a unique layout so Nick made sure his measurements were accurate to ensure that the crew would have a smooth installation process when the day of the project arrived.
Solution
On installation day, our foreman Damien and his crew arrived at the home ready to waterproof the entire basement! They installed our CleanSpace wall system along each wall, following Nick's measurements to ensure a seamless installation around every corner. CleanSpace is a vapor barrier that directs water seepage into our WaterGuard drainage system that the crew installed around the floor's entire perimeter, again using Nick's measurements to ensure a smooth installation process. The WaterGuard drains the collected water into our SuperSump Plus sump pump which then sends it out of the home through the discharge line. On the home's exterior, the crew set up our IceGuard discharge line system to prevent flooding if the discharge line ever got clogged or froze in the winter. Now the homeowner can feel confident that their basement will be staying dry!
