Finished Basement Waterproofing in Watertown, MA
Challenge
This homeowner in Watertown, MA called us after the finished area of their basement completely flooded and they were looking for permanent solutions after having the water mitigated. Our sales inspector, Nick, went to the home and drew up a solution to completely waterproof the space. The homeowner wanted to refinish the basement in the future so it was important that the waterproofing solution allowed for that. Nick made sure to account for that in his plan and he even included a way to kickstart the basement finishing project for the homeowner.
Solution
On installation day, our production foreman, Riley, and his crew started waterproofing the basement by installing our CleanSpace wall system and WaterGuard drainage system. The CleanSpace lines the walls and directs seepage into the WaterGuard which was installed around the floor's perimeter. That collected water is then sent into our TripleSafe sump pump which sends all of the water out of the home through the two discharge lines. To start off the basement finishing project, the crew installed our Elite Plank Flooring in the color Pecan. The Elite Plank Flooring resembles wooden floor boards but it is made from waterproof material and works seamlessly with our other products. Now once the homeowner completely finishes the basement, they wont be worrying about water issues at all!
