Basement Floor Finishing in East Weymouth, MA

Challenge

This homeowner in East Weymouth, MA gave us a call looking for flooring options for their basement finishing project. Our inspector, Andy, went out to the home to take a look at the basement and provide a free estimate for the homeowner. He told them about our Elite Plank Flooring and how it works seamlessly with our other basement waterproofing products. The homeowner understood the peace of mind that would come with a completely waterproof finished basement, so they were really excited for installation day.

Solution

When installation day arrived, Foreman Riley and his crew were ready to waterproof the basement and give it a finished floor. They first installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier along the basement walls to direct any seepage into the WaterGuard drainage system which was installed around the perimeter of the basement floor to collect groundwater. The SaniDry Sedona was set up to keep humidity in the space low and it drains itself into the SuperSump Plus sump pump which sends all of the collected water out of the home through a discharge line. The crew then used our Elite Plank Flooring in the color Walnut to finish the basement floor. The Elite Plank Flooring works seamlessly with the waterproofing system and it is made out of material that is water and mold resistant. It also creates a thermal break so the floor won't feel too cold during winter months. Now the homeowner can complete their basement finishing project and be able to rest easy knowing it's safe from water!
