Waterproofing a Finished Basement in Newtonville, MA
Challenge
This homeowner in Newtonville, MA reached out to us because their finished basement was experiencing some water seepage issues. Our inspector, David, went out to the home to assess the basement and come up with a solution that would keep it dry going forward. The homeowner obviously wanted to continue using the basement as an additional living space so David took that into account when drawing up his plan. His solution would not only waterproof the basement, but also refinish it so the homeowner wasn't left with too much of a project after our work was done.
Solution
On installation day, our production foreman, Riley, and his crew arrived ready to rid this basement of it's water issues. They first installed our WaterGuard drainage system along the floor's perimeter to collect groundwater. They also installed our TripleSafe sump pump to send all of the collected water out of the home. To refinish the basement wall, the crew installed our EverLast Wall Restoration system which is made of water resistant material but has the look of a finished basement wall. Now the homeowner can enjoy their basement without worrying about water!
