Waterproofing a Quinebaug, CT Basement
Challenge
This homeowner in Quinebaug, CT reached out to us after moving into their home and unfortunately finding that the basement had pre-existing water issues despite having a sump pump. Our inspector, Dave, went out to the home to assess the basement and he drew up a solution for it. Dave shared his plan with the homeowner and they felt confident that it would make a big difference for their new home, all they had to do was look forward to installation day!
Solution
Our crew installed our WaterGuard drainage system around the perimeter of the basement floor to collect groundwater seepage. They replaced the existing sump pump that wasn't doing its job with our TripleSafe sump pump. The WaterGuard sends the water it collects into the TripleSafe which then pumps it all out of the basement through two discharge lines. On the home's exterior, our IceGuard discharge line system prevents flooding in the event of a clogged or frozen line. Now the homeowner can fully enjoy their new home feeling confident that they have a reliable basement waterproofing system.
