Waterproofing System Upgrade in Gardner, MA
Challenge
This homeowner in Gardner, MA had a contractor grade sump pump in their basement that just wasn't doing the trick. During heavy rains, they were dealing with a significant amount of water seeping up through their basement's floor. Our inspector, Dave, went out to the home to assess the basement and its water issues, then he drew up a solution that would keep it dry going forward.
Solution
On installation day, Foreman Damien and his crew started waterproofing the basement by installing our WaterGuard drainage system around the entirety of the basement floor's perimeter. The WaterGuard will collect all of the groundwater that tries to seep into the basement and it will instead send it into the new sump pump that our crew installed. Our SuperSump Plus sump pump takes all of the collected water and sends it out of the basement through a discharge line. On the home's exterior, the IceGuard discharge line system prevents flooding in the event of a clogged or frozen discharge line. Now the homeowner can rest easy next time it rains!
