Wet Basement Solutions in Duxbury, MA
Challenge
This homeowner in Duxbury, MA typically had a pretty dry basement but they have been finding that water seeps in through the area of their basement with a window more and more frequently, especially if it rains heavily for a few days. They gave us a call looking for solutions and our sales manager, Jake, went out to take at look. After assessing the basement's water issues, he drew up a plan that would keep the space dry going forward.
Solution
On installation day, our foreman, Tomas, and his crew installed our WellDuct window well drainage system beneath the basement window. The WellDuct directs water seepage into our WaterGuard drainage system which was installed around the basement floor's perimeter to collect groundwater. The WaterGuard sends the water it collects into our SuperSump Plus sump pump which the crew installed in the corner of the basement near the window. The SuperSump Plus pumps all of that water out of the basement through a discharge line. On the home's exterior, our IceGuard discharge line system prevents flooding if the line ever clogs or freezes. Now the homeowner can feel confident that their basement will be staying dry no matter how hard it rains.
