Total Basement Waterproofing in Leicester, MA
Challenge
This homeowner in Leicester, MA gave us a call inquiring about waterproofing options that would keep water out of their home entirely. They were tired of dealing with water seeping in through the basement walls and floor during heavy rains so it was really important that they found a well-rounded, reliable solution. Our sales inspector, Andy, went out to the home and did a full assessment of the basement and its water issues. Then he was able to draw up a game plan that would leave the homeowner with nothing but confidence during the next storm.
Solution
On installation day, our production foreman, Lucio, and his crew got to work making Andy's plan a reality. They installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier along each wall to direct seepage into our WaterGuard drainage system which was installed along the floor's entire perimeter to collect groundwater. Our TrenchDrain grated basement drain was placed inside of the bulkhead door to catch any surface water, it's connected to the WaterGuard drainage system. Our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier was also set up to control humidity in the basement year-round and it conveniently drains itself. All of that water is then channeled into our TripleSafe sump pump which sends it out of the basement through two discharge lines. On the home's exterior, our IceGuard discharge line system was set up to prevent flooding if a discharge line ever clogs or freezes. Now the homeowner can have peace of mind with our waterproofing system in place!
