Basement Waterproofing in Coventry, RI
Challenge
This homeowner in Coventry, RI was referred to DryZone by their family member who had a great experience when they worked with us. When this homeowner realized they were having water issues in their basement, they gave us a call. Our inspector, Mike, went out to the home to assess the basement and he drew up a reliable waterproofing plan for the space. In this home, the basement was already partially finished, so Mike made sure that the plan would allow the homeowner to easily refinish their basement.
Solution
On installation day, our foreman, Damien, and his crew installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier along the lower half of the basement wall to corral seepage into the WaterGuard drainage system which was installed around the floor's perimeter for groundwater. The water collected in the drainage system is channeled into the TripleSafe sump pump which sends it out of the basement through two discharge lines. On the outside of the home, our IceGuard discharge line system was set up to prevent flooding if a discharge line ever clogs or freezes. Now the homeowner can refinish their basement with confidence that it'll be staying dry!
