Dudley, MA Bulkhead Leaks
Challenge
This home in Dudley, MA has a repeating problem, when it would rain, the bulkhead would leak and the water would go down the stairs into the basement, leaving puddles for the owners to clean up each time! Once was manageable, but every time was just creating a headache and stress with every rain. They called DryZone and got an inspector out to take a look at the concerning area where together they drafted a plan to stop the puddling once and for all!
Solution
With the plan in hand, our crew went to the home and started working in the basement. They installed TrenchDrain at the base of the bulkhead stairs to collect that rainwater that would make it's way down. They then attached that to the TripleSafe sump pump, where the collected water would be pumped out of the basement and away from the home. This combo would prevent that headache of mopping up puddles every rain! To top it off, a SaniDry XP dehumidifier was installed to absorb any moisture in the air and would keep this basement much drier!
