Challenge
The owners of this below grade garage in Paxton, MA were dealing with water seepage, making it difficult to use this space for storage without fear of their items smelling musty or getting moldy! After calling our team, we set them up with our inspector to take some measurements and device a plan to stop this water seepage. After discussing the products and solutions we have, the homeowners decided to move forward with the install!
Solution
Our crew installed a waterproofing system to collect the water seeping in and remove it. The WaterGuard pipe system was placed at the footing of the garage, where the foundation wall and floor meet. This is the weakest point of your foundation, and with water traveling to the point of least resistance, the spot where water seeps in frequently. Attached to the WaterGuard is our TripleSafe sump pump. This pump system has three pumps for the ability to handle large amounts of water, one of those pumps being a battery powered back up to handle storm situations. Along with a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to absorb water vapor and reduce humidity, this garage can now be used as a storage space confidently!
