Providence, RI Wall Seepage Solution
Challenge
In Providence, RI, this homeowner called in for help with their basement water issue. Our team went out to inspect the basement, noticing signs of groundwater seepage in the fieldstone foundation wall, which is common as fieldstone foundations are typically old and the mortar holding the stones together can crumble over time, allowing water through. Luckily, our inspector came up with a plan to help this basement become the dry basement these homeowners wanted.
Solution
Our team was able to address the problem area and install a few of our products to waterproof the space! A SuperSump Plus sump pump system was installed to remove the water collected from the basement and that water will be collected by the WaterGuard pipe system along the seam of the wall. Also, along the wall is our CleanSpace Wall vapor barrier, which will keep any wall seepage out of the basement and is designed to work perfectly with our WaterGuard. With these products, the owners of this basement will be happy knowing that water worries are a thing of the past!
