Water Prevention in Worcester, MA
Challenge
The owners of this Worcester, MA home had just bought it and wanted to be prepared for whatever the peak wet seasons had in store. They got a free estimate appointment, and our inspector came up with a solution that worked for their specific home and situation. They discussed how the solution would protect their new home from whatever the weather would send their way.
Solution
The crew got to work and installed a SuperSump Plus sump pump. The liner of this pump comes with one pump but has room to upgrade and added a battery backup as well if there is an excess of water coming in. WaterGuard piping went along the seam of the wall and floor of the foundation, intercepting any water seepage that would make its way in. On the wall, CleanSpace Wall vapor barrier was fastened to keep moisture out of the basement and direct it into the channel below. All these components work together to protect this area from potential water leaks in their basement!
