Ashaway, RI Groundwater Solution
Challenge
The basement of this Ashaway, RI home got a lot of water after rains, making this space difficult to use without waterproof bins or stressing how long it could stay there before it risked getting moldy! The team was here to help when they reached out, and our inspector visited the home for a free estimate on how to find the right solution for their basement.
Solution
After the inspection and feeling reassured that there is a solution to help them, the crew got to work! They installed a TripleSafe sump pump to remove the collected water from the basement. To collect the water, WaterGuard piping was installed around the basement on the interior footing. The pipe has openings to allow water in and is pitched to get water flowing to the sump pump. The walls got our CleanSpace Wall system, keeping any wall seepage behind the vapor barrier to reduce moisture and allow that water to get removed by the sump pump as well!
