Garage Water Concern Solved in Wayland, MA
Challenge
This basement garage was getting water seeping in, and the homeowners were ready for a solution so they could feel confident storing their belongings down there without worrying of mold or mildew. They did some shopping around, which included a free estimate with DryZone! Our inspector listened to their concerns and devised a recommended plan based off his findings and their plans with the space. After weighing their options, they chose our solution for their home!
Solution
On the day of the installation, our crew got to work jackhammering the perimeter so they could install the WaterGuard piping and SuperSump Plus sump pump. Along the wall, they also fastened our CleanSpace Wall vapor barrier to keep moisture from the walls contained and tucked the bottom end into the WaterGuard, directing any water into the system for removal. The final touches included TrenchDrain along the opening of the garage, allowing any water that could seep in under the door to be collected as well, and a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to remove any humidity from the air.
