Warwick, RI Musty Damp Basement Project
Challenge
Damp smells and puddling were found in this Warwick, RI basement, things you don’t want in your home! The owners of this home did some research and reached out to a few companies for some help, DryZone being one of them. We sent our inspector for a free estimate, during which they took photos and measurements to devise a proposed plan to remove the water and protect the space from moisture, which the homeowners approved!
Solution
When installation day came, our crew was ready to get to work! They started by jackhammering to expose the footing of the foundation for our WaterGuard piping to sit on and a pit for the TripleSafe sump pump liner. In the liner, the TripleSafe components were installed to remove the water collected around the basement. On the walls, CleanSpace Wall vapor barrier is fastened to the walls and tucked into the WaterGuard below to keep water seepage and condensation out of the basement space. Finally, a SaniDry XP dehumidifier will remove moisture from the air and help keep this basement dry!
